ABOUT
A group of parents in Mountainside were looking for a youth soccer program that met four objectives:
1
Mountainside youths playing together to build community and memories that will last a lifetime.
2
The right developmentally appropriate soccer league.
3
The right coaching and guidance for our child athletes.
4
A reasonable cost of participating in competitive youth soccer.
From these objectives, Mountainside FC, Inc. (MFC) was formed in 2024 as a New Jersey non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status with the IRS. MFC is a provisional club member of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association (NJYSA).
MFC's purpose is to promote, develop, and expand opportunities for youth soccer in the Borough of Mountainside by fostering the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and commitment within the community. MFC intends to realize this purpose by providing a youth soccer club where players can learn and participate in coach-led practices and compete in games and tournaments.
